BUSH SCHOOL AT A&M:
CLEARING PATH FOR 1.4 MILLION NEWLY-INSURED TEXANS
WOULD BRING $5 Billion/year to texas

One in five Texans don’t have health insurance and it’s costing Texas billions. Make no mistake - this is a crisis for Texans and the Texas economy.

Solving health care challenges is never easy. But Texas leaders are walking away from billions of dollars a year that could be used to support working Texans, keep our hospitals open, and create new jobs in the health care industry. That just doesn’t make any sense.

A September 2020 Texas A&M study found that a Texas-specific solution to this crisis could open up pathways to health care coverage for 1.4 million Texans and bring $5 billion per year back to Texas.

This problem is not going away. Texas leaders must do something.
